Today, I'm focused on Jami, where we're building the infrastructure for the creator economy, enabling creators to monetize their work and communities through tips, brand partnerships, social commerce, and new digital experiences.
Before Jami, I founded BeBlocky to make programming education more accessible to young learners (my entrepreneurial origin story, and still the itch I haven't fully scratched), and Social.ly, where I worked with brands, organizations, and creators on digital growth strategies. I also helped build Yenetta Code, expanding access to technology education and empowering the next generation of Ethiopian innovators.
Across each of these, the throughline has been the same: build from first principles, hire people better than yourself, and design for markets that don't fully exist yet.
