In my roles at INTAPS and Top Link Technologies, I have demonstrated exceptional leadership in managing complex projects in the industries of agriculture, land management and water utilities. As a technical coordinator at INTAPS, I drove end-to-end solution delivery, from requirements analysis to deployment, across diverse sectors. At Top Link, as Product Manager, I played a central leadership role in a three company consortium tasked by the World Bank with developing a national Management Information System (MIS) for 22 urban water utilities. From guiding requirements analysis, setting product vision and leading scrums to orchestrating large-scale rollouts, I was instrumental in ensuring the project’s success while navigating the intricacies of enterprise-level implementation.
Through these experiences, I developed a deep understanding of how large scale businesses work, equipping myself with advanced knowledge in business and finance.
I then took these skills into my part time role as Business Development Manager at WeBirr, a rapidly growing FinTech startup. At WeBirr, I leveraged my strategic insights and business connections to establish the company as a leader in water utility payments, achieving a 35% growth in its merchant base and forging partnerships with prominent banks and payment providers across Ethiopia.
