As Founder and CEO of Auction Ethiopia, I am leading the development of Ethiopia’s pioneering digital auction and market infrastructure platform. Our mission is to build trusted, transparent, and technology-driven market infrastructure that improves asset disposal, expands market access, and strengthens secondary markets across Ethiopia and, ultimately, Africa.
Through digital auction technology and our nationwide Digital Auction Agent (DAA) network, we are connecting institutions, businesses, and communities to more efficient, transparent, and competitive markets. Our work supports public and private sector asset management, collateral recovery, movable asset financing, warehouse receipt systems, and digital trade infrastructure.
My focus is on building scalable market infrastructure that enables financial inclusion, strengthens secured lending ecosystems, accelerates rural-to-urban market connectivity, and supports cross-border trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
I believe Africa’s economic transformation requires modern, trusted market infrastructure. My goal is to help build the systems that enable assets, capital, and commerce to move more efficiently across the continent.
